Day 01 : Arrival at Cochin Airport / Railway station
Arrive Cochin Int’l airport. Proceed to Ernakulam and check into the hotel. Later visit Fort Cochin, St. Francis Church, Jewish Synagogue etc. In the evening free to walk through Marine Drive. Night at the hotel.
Day 02 : Cochin - Munnar
On arrival meet and proceed to Munnar (150 kms / 4 hrs). Munnar is really a paradise for natural lovers. It is basically a tea town where the plantation spread thousands of acres. Enroute visiting Cheyyappara Water Falls and blossom park. Afternoon sightseeing of Munnar which includes Tea Museum, Eco-Point, Pothamedu etc. Night at the hotel.
Day 03 : Munnar
This morning excursion to Eravikualam National Park where you can spot several endangered species of animals. It is one of the best protected parks in the country. Afternoon, proceed to Mattupetty dam and its lake. You can also enjoy boating in the Lake (optional). Watch the highest peak of “Anamudi” here. In the evening you may watch Kathkali dance performance or “Kalaripayattu” (a traditional war fighting) Night at the hotel.
Day 04 : Munnar - Thekkady
This morning after breakfast, proceed towards Thekkady (130 kms / 4 hrs). On arrival, check into the hotel. Afternoon enjoy boat ride in the lake Pariyar. While sailing ahead you may spot some wild animals. Night at Hotel.
Day 05 : Thekkady – Alleppey and board a houseboat
After breakfast, visit spice plantation like cardamom, Pepper, Coffee & tea estates etc. You may experience elephant ride or Jungle safari by Forest Department This morning. Later, proceed to Alleppey (130 kms / 4 hrs), popularly known as the Venice of the East. On arrival check into a deluxe houseboat. The boat will cruise through the backwaters, you can watch the spectacular greenery of the places and see the daily activities of the local people on shore. Lunch, Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 06 : Alleppey – Trivandrum - Kovalam
Breakfast on board. Later proceed to Kovalam (165 kms / 5 hrs). On the way visit Trivandrum City where you will be visiting Padmananhaswamy temple, Horse Palace, Napier Museum and the Srichitra Art Gallery. Kovalam is famous for its sandy beaches and tall green coconut trees.
Day 07 : Kovalam – Poovar - Kanyakumari
Morning proceed to Kanyakumari. On the way stop at Poovar Island where you can go for a lot of water activities like speed boat, cannoning, cruising etc. Proceed further and visit Padmanabhapuram Palace and Sucheendram temple. On arrival at Kanyakumari check into hotel. Evening enjoy the spectacular sunset from the beach. Night at the hotel.
Day 08 : Kanyakumari - Rameshwaram
Early morning watch sunrise from the hotel or Beach. Breakfast at the hotel. Morning visit Vivekandand Rock, Museum, Kumari Amman Temple etc. In the afternoon proceed to Rameshwaram (320 kms / 7 hrs) and check into the hotel.
Day 09 : Rameshwaram - Madurai
Breakfast at the hotel. Morning visit the famous Ramanatha Swamy temple. Proceed to Adams bridge, Agni Teertham, Pamban Bridge, Dr. Abdul Kalam’s House etc. Proceed to Madurai (180 kms / 4 hrs) and check into the hotel.
Day 10 : Madurai - Kodaikanal
Morning visit the famous Meenakshi temple, Alagar Koyil, Koodal Azhagar Temple and Gandhi Memorial. Later proceed to Kodaikanal (130 kms / 3 hrs). Night at the hotel.
Day 11 : Kodaikanal
Full day free to visit Coakers Walk, Pillar Rock, Green Valley View, Pine Forest, Moiré Point, Shola Falls, Brayant Park, Devils Kitchen, Golf Course, Silent Valley, Kurunji Andavar Temple, Chettiar Park etc. In the evening visit the Kodai Lake and enjoy boat ride here. Night at the hotel.
Day 12 : Kodaikanal – Trichy
Breakfast at the hotel. This morning proceed to Trichy (160 kms / 4 hrs) and visit Ucchi Pillayar temple, Srirangam temple, Trichi Rock Fort, Kallanai Dam etc. Night at the hotel.
Day 13 : Trichi – Tanjavur - Vailankanni
Breakfast at the hotel. Proceed to Veilankanni (160 kms / 4 hrs). Enroute stop at Tanjavur and visit Brihadeeshwara temple, Gangaikonda Cholapuram temple, Swami Malai temple etc. Proceed to Vailankanni and check into the hotel.
Day 14 : Vailankanni – Chidamparam - Pondicherry
Breakfast at the hotel. Morning free to visit the Vailankanni Church. Later proceed to Pondicherry enroute visiting Chidamparam. Here visit the famous Nataraja Temple and Murugan Temple. Proceed to Pondicherry and check into the hotel. Evening free to relax on the beach. Night at the hotel.
Day 15 : Pondicherry – Mahabalipuram - Kanchipuram
Breakfast at the hotel. Visit the famous Aurabindo Ashram. Proceed to Mahabalipuram and check into the hotel. Here visit the famous Mahabalipuram temples renowned for its rock cuts. Later proceed to Kanchipuram (60 kms) and check into the hotel.
Day 16 : Kanchipuram – Chennai
This morning visit Kanchipuram silk weaving units. You may also visit some of the famous temples here. Proceed to Chennai and check into the hotel. Evening free to relax on the beach.
Day 17 : Chennai – Tirupati
This morning visit Marina Beach and Kapeelaswar Temple. In the afternoon visit Tirupati Balaji Temple and check into the hotel.
Day 18 : Tirupati / departure
Breakfast at the hotel. Visit the Balaji Temple. In the evening transfer to airport to board flight for onward destination.
